NEW SHOOTER WORKSHOPS

MCRGO is offering New Shooter Workshops at the 2019 Fall Firearms Festival. There is no cost to participate in the workshop. Participants should be at least 18 years old and either new to or inexperienced with firearms. MCRGO will supply .22 and 9mm pistols for use at the workshops along with ammo, ear & eye protection. All you need to bring is yourself! Workshops are scheduled for 12 PM and 2 PM and are limited to 15 people each. Workshops last for 90 minutes. They include 45 minutes in the classroom covering gun safety and essential skills for shooting a pistol. This will be followed by 45 minutes on the range to establish grip, sight, and press with a firearm, how to load a semi-automatic pistol, and 10-15 well aimed shots on an 8×10 piece of paper, from 5 yards, done slowly with instructional help from the instructors present. If you have a fear of guns, don’t worry! The .22 pistols have very little recoil. The workshops will be taught by MCRGO Instructor Heather Reeves with assistance from MCRGO Instructors April & Joe Lucht. To secure a spot, use the sign up form below. Walk-ins will be accepted as space permits.
