1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be awarded for each event except non-competitive.

Precision Pistol:
This competition will simulate the rapid-fire portion of the Bullseye Competition. This is a one-handed competition. Starting with 5 rounds in the gun, the muzzle on the bench, finger off the trigger, shooters will be given 10 seconds to shoot 5 shots at the target. Shooters will then be given time to reload 5 more rounds, followed by a second shooting session. The targets will be at 7 yards and will be the 25 yard Rapid Fire Bullseye B16 target with an orange background. Any caliber allowed on the pistol range is allowed. Iron sights and optic sights (red dot) are allowed. Scoring will be the total of the hits on the target. There will be winners for both iron sights and optic sights.

.22 Steel:
This will be a short version of DSC’s monthly .22 steel plate match mentioned above. Here we will have two stages set up with up to six plates and you will be allowed up to 10 rounds each timed stage starting muzzle on the table. {Targets not hit are a 5 sec. penalty.} The best combined time of the two stages is the winner. We will have both Junior and Adult divisions with both iron and optic classes. Any .22 LR pistol can be used; revolvers as well as semi’s. Safety is kept simple with no reloads or malfunction clearing on the clock – malfunctions get the option of a reshoot with no penalty. If you want to see what a full match is like, come early and see the DSC’s monthly match.

USPSA:
This competition will simulate a short course of a USPSA Competition with a modified start position. This is a two-handed competition. Starting with a loaded magazine, the muzzle pointed at the starting post, finger off the trigger, shooters will be timed until the course of fire is complete. Any caliber allowed on the pistol range is allowed. Iron sights and optic sights (red dot) are allowed. Scoring will be points divided by time for a hit factor.

Juniors:
There will be one pistol bay set up for the Juniors who are not able to participate in any of the competitive events. Must be accompanied by a guardian. .22 caliber only. There will be standard bullseye targets plus some novelty targets as a fun shoot (e.g., balloons)
